On 21–22 May, the AdTherM Centre gathered in Lund for Spring Research Days, hosted by Tetra Pak.
The two-day meeting brought together researchers, students, and industry partners from across the center to share progress, discuss ongoing activities, and plan future directions. The agenda featured updates from all research work packages, highlighting advances in sustainable heat transfer, cooling technologies, industrial processes, and computational modelling.
A particular highlight was the strong participation of students, with several master’s thesis projects presented alongside ongoing PhD research. These presentations demonstrated how AdTherM contributes to educating the next generation of researchers and engineers while addressing industrially relevant challenges.
The agenda also included an invited talk by Ulf Lindblad from Tetra Pak on CFD applications within the company, providing industrial perspectives and generating valuable discussions between academia and industry. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the Tetra Pak Product Room and gain further insight into the company’s technologies and products.
The meeting concluded with a workshop focused on reflections and future steps for the center. As AdTherM research activities continue to expand, the center is now aiming to organize research days twice a year, creating additional opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and interaction between partners.
