Martin Andersson

Martin Andersson was promoted to professor in Heat Transfer at Lund University, department of Energy Science in 2023. In 2015, was he awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, which enabled a half-time 4 years research stay, guest professor, at research center Jülich in Germany. Since 2019, he is director of undergraduate studies at Lund University department of Energy Sciences and since 2022 also the program director for the 5-year master program in Environmental Engineering. He have a strong interest in internationalization of education and with long-standing collaborations in Bhutan and Nepal. His research interest is both fundamental and applied and includes: modeling of fuel cells, electrolyzer cells, and batteries, solar drying of food in developing countries, modeling of fluid flow related to additive manufactured boundary layers, Six PhD students with Prof. Andersson as main advisor or co-advisor graduated with a PhD Degree at Lund University and he is currently supervising seven PhD students. The research is externally funded, for example by VINNOVA, EU Ho2020, and Swedish Research Council (VR).
